I have a ddblock setup to pull dailyscripts comics from an image folder. Works fine but I noticed that all images are displayed for a second while the page loads. Is there a way to hide the images until all are loaded?

Thanks

Are you using the dev version or RC6?
Do you have a link to the ddblock slideshow on your Drupal site?

I'm seeing the same problem with the latest dev version. I load images from a folder (files/images/banners) and have applied default settings for the block configuration. There are 3 images in the folder which show up only briefly before the page is loaded. sometimes it's quick sometimes you really see it, which is annoying.

This same thing is happening to me. I have worked around it by using css to make the slide divs display:none. The javascript manually sets them to display:block after everything is loaded, so this works fine for me.

Hi.. Sorry for the delay in responding..

The site is an intranet and not publicly accessible. I have tried both the dev and rc6. Currently using 6.x-1.x-dev

Thanks

display:none for the div.slide classes should work

Sorry for my lack of css knowledge.. What is the exact text and where do I place it?

Thanks

I would say add the following anywhere (the end is easy to find) in the file called style.css in your theme's folder.

div.slide {
  display:none;
}

That worked perfectly!
