I am trying to add a third instance of the dynamic display block to our site and am running into a kind of strange issue.
We use the ddblock in a panel. We have 2 instances running with NO problems (Love this module) They are:
--http://www.mthtrains.com/
--http://www.mthtrains.com/start/main

I have the view setup from the export files. I have adjusted my template.php in my theme. (pre-process and content)
I have added the instance and the matching view. (I am using the modest-501 theme)
Here is the issue.
I go to add the block in the panel and if I add it from miscellaneous I get nothing. If I add it from widgets I get the view but no interaction.

Now I have set up a test page with the block

http://www.mthtrains.com/ddblock-test

It is showing the advanced block with the view, in default mode. As you can see it shows the view.

If I change it to cycleblock mode it dissapears.
I am wondering if it is a theme issue since the static view displays correctly
I attached a copy of my template file

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Mike

The theme_name is not modest-501 (1 as in one) but modest-50l (l from landscape).

Maybe this is the problem, otherwise, can you add the drupal_set_message lines inside the if statement for the new view like:

   if ($vars['settings']['view_name'] == 'ddblock_internat_zero') {
      drupal_set_message('<pre>' . var_export($vars['settings']['view_name'], true) . '</pre>');
      drupal_set_message('<pre>' . var_export($vars['content'][0], true) . '</pre>');
      if (!empty($vars['content'])) {

and set the ddblock to cycleblock and clear the cache at
Administer > Site configuration > Performance
