Maximum number of slides [#2492901]

Hi there,

I'm using D7 with a view but I'm not able to make it work, not sure where the problem is but probably somewhere around the number of slides.

The tutorial at http://ddblock.myalbums.biz/node/1972 at the point "6. VIEWS - Create View" says "Set maximum number of slides to show in the slideshow" ... so I imagine that has to be done at the "Pager area" ...

but, if I choose "Display all items" all the images will show stacked at the same time within the block (in this case 2 nodes from the content type)

if I choose "Display a specified number of items | 1 item" it'll only show one of the images but NO cycling from one to another.

I'm pretty sure I've followed all other instructions from the tutorial to point.

If I use a normal ddblock (no content type and view) with the input type from an image folder all the cycling seems to work fine but then I can to have the image linked to a node as I'm willing to.

What am I doing wrong?

Can you check if there are JavaScript errors on the page when you see the slides stacked.

HI ppblaauw, thanks for your prompt answer.

No there isn't any

... however don't worry any more ... looking at other issues I've found out that I can accomplish the same and easier with Views Slideshow module ... and as ddblock is unsupported due to a security issue I'd rather use the other.
