Im trying to use a ddblock for my homepage splash. I have downloaded all of the current (filefield & imagefield updates both came out the other day) modules. I watched the basic and advanced tutorials numerous times, then re-attempted using the text instructions. I keep getting a block displaying all of the content in the news item nodes. Im not sure what I did wrong, but both times I attempted this process...I get the same result. Here is a link to the site Im working on... http://bit.ly/kZKnUT

Probably you placed the views display block for the slideshow in a region of your page.
You need to use the ddblock instance of the views display block instead.
