ppblaauw commentedUsing PHP code:
You would need to use the php input filter for the content, to be able to use PHP code.
Place of the pager:
For a basic dynamic display block slideshow have a look at this issue: http://drupal.org/node/1068718
For an advanced dynamic display block slideshow, you can change the pager position in the settings of the configuration page for the slideshow.
Hope this helps you further, please let me know.

bryanmcclure commentedThank you, but I am unaware of the php input filter. This is my first Drupal site, so I have a lot to learn. Where can I install the php filter?
bryanmcclure commentedI did some research on here and got the php filter figured out, but the php code I'm using doesn't seem to be posting any content. Any thoughts?
Thank you

ppblaauw commentedTip: please have a look at the Issue queue handbook what to do to get answers on your questions, what the priority settings of issues mean and what it means to assign an issue to yourself, so you will get more and better answers on posts in issue queues in the future.

Did you give permissions to users to view ddblock slideshows?
Are you using block 1 for the slideshow?
I don't see any ddblock slideshow functionality on your homepage

bryanmcclure commentedSorry, I am used to Movable Type where people don't respond to your post for weeks or months. Thanks for your prompt response.
I am using block one...I think...
Doesn't the one in that code indicate I am using block 1?
I turned on all the permissions under user management >> permissions, but didn't have any luck
I've attached a screenshot of what I'm seeing at the bottom of my firefox page if that helps.
Thanks

ppblaauw commentedOk, I can see the slideshow now at the bottom of your homepage and you are using block-1.
The php code to add the block is right.
The only thing I can think of is that the PHP filter is not applied to the node.
The same block should show up in the node using the php code and the php filter.

bryanmcclure commentedI think the slideshow is showing up at the bottom as a result me creating a new block and specifying that it show up on the page. It will only appear at the bottom when I choose to add it to the "content" region.
I've attached an image of my homepage body where the php code is and the input filter I have selected, an image of where I've placed the block I created called "Homepage Slideshow" in the "content" region, and an image of what I see in that block where the page is displayed.
Hopefully this helps. I'm stumped!

ppblaauw commentedIn Image 1, I see that in the first line of the php code the single quotes are different (probably from copy/past)
Can you type the quotes again, so they become the same as in the second line of the php code around: content.

bryanmcclure commentedYou're a genius! That is what it was. Oh my gosh. php is so touchy! I did copy and paste it!
I couldn't figure out for the life of me why it wasn't working.
It even works in all browsers now. I am very thankful!
You have saved days of hastle!
