My website is missing the 'read more' block in IE and Safari, and I can't figure out why. It shows up properly in other browsers. I'm not sure what information is necessary to diagnose this; following is the CSS code I'm using (lightly customized) with the block. The primary change, for now, is simply to turn the background transparent (gets rid of an ugly white box at the bottom of the block -- caused by setting the pagers to display to the right, which caused them to vanish, which was a desired change) and center the block. I tried removing these, and it didn't change the problem.

ppblaauw commentedDue to lack of time I can't support CSS customizations of slideshow themes.
I same issue is there with not customized slideshow theme please reopen the issue
Comment #2
RLugge commentedReopening issue; issue exists even with original slideshow files.
ppblaauw commentedDo you have a link to the slideshow on your Internet site?
RLugge commentedHere it is. It's Upright40 with the pagers set to appear to the right (which causes them to disappear)
ppblaauw commentedThere is no readmore link in the slideshow, also not in FF or chrome.
You probably changed the code for the readmore button in the preprocess function.
RLugge commentedStrangely, it does show up in Firefox 4.
Anyway, here are the preprocess functions; what would I need to change?
ppblaauw commentedCan you also attach the result of the drupal_set_message debug lines when you uncomment them in the preprocess functions so I can see which field names are generated by cck.
RLugge commentedHere is the result.
ppblaauw commentedI still don't see the read more button in FF and Chrome.
I am an anonymous user.
Maybe you also don't see the read more button when you are not logged in other browsers and you see the readmore button when you are logged in as administrator (user 1)
Probably you have the content permissions module (submodule of CCK) enabled and did not give permissions to anonymous users for the URL field. (In the permissions configuration page)
Hope this helps you further, please let me know.
RLugge commentedThat... would be correct.
Thanks for the help.
