Hi, Great Module, wonderfull, fantastic,
but....
Double click module works on Firefox 2 but not on Opera 9.02. In Opera double-clicking just does not open the edit mode. Firefox works like a dream
My environment is: Xubuntu 6.10, Opera 9.02, Firefox 2, PHP 5.1.6, MySQL 5.0.24, Apache 2.0.55, Drupal 5.x beta
The Opera environment has been tested with Javascript enabled, plugins enabled and all pop-ups enabled.
Not an entirely critical bug, but this will save a minute for the next Opera user that searches on Drupal.org.
Question is, does "Double Click" use the jQuery library? If so, there may be many more issues related to the Opera Browser, I am experiencing many 'strangies' in Drupal 5.x under Opera that seems to be me only.

jjeff commentedMy understanding is that this is a bug with Opera.

Please let me know if I'm incorrect.

casperl commentedOh well...
This is a 'classic example' of where Opera maintains all other browsers are broken and Opera is not:

It is not a major problem if this one thingy does not work. However I have a few other 'strangies' concerning Opera a jQuery / Drupal 5.0 that I will report under the appropriate modules.

casperl commentedIn order to save someone 5 minutes of googling on this issue here is some more from the Opera blogs:

Of course in the event that this "bug" is fixed in Gecko and Safari, this bug will then resurface in this module. Also, the Opera browser for Mobile and hand-held devices is gaining market share and may very well become dominant in those markets. However, I am not sure about the level of Javascript implementation in the handheld browsers.
Enabling compatibility for a browser that has only 4% market share could be seen as a waste of time, but, Opera users are probably in the top 20% of power users that use the Internet the most! That should provide a different perspective for webmasters to consider compatibility with Opera.
