I can't be the first person that has requested this but I can not find a solution in the issues.

I want to filter out all nodes that have a date range that overlaps today.

The nodes are joined to a date content type through relationships. This creates another issue because not all nodes have a date.

The functionality is members have the ability to "book themselves off" and during that period I do not want them in the view.

I think i got it

One filter for "TO Date" is OR <= Today
Another filter for "FROM Date" is AND >= Today

To show the nodes with no date fields I added the TO Date (is null)
