I'm trying to create a filter on from date with a value of now, but I do not get the option to enter a value.
I can create the filter choose Date field, choose Granularity, and Date form type, and operator and that's it.

The filter looks like this because I can't enter a value
Date: Date (node) Content: From Date (field_fromdate) - From date >=

I have search all over for a week, and now I give up
am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with the filter.

I included a screen shoot, some one please help me

Could it be something in your theme?
What if you switched theme to Garland or something else?

Good, I am going to mark this issue as fixed for now.
You might want to assign this issue against the theme, if that is hosted on d.o
I will leave that to your judgement. In any case, it does not seem to be an issue for the date module.
