Newby here, so I'm hoping this is easy. I'm using the O'Reilly book (USING DRUPAL) and am having a problem in chapter 9 (Event Management). I installed (and enabled) the current version of all modules needed within the last two weeks. At a certain point (such as when I'm configuring a VIEW), the book tells me to select/choose "field_time value". I don't see that field listed. I see two choices: (field_time) - From date and (field_time) - To date. So I chose "From", hoping for the best. The upcoming events block listing worked fine, so I continued on to configuring a VIEW to make a calendar page. The resulting page displays the complete event information, including the month and day for each event... within the "day box". That's redundant on a calendar. The only info needed is the time and event name. Did I somehow miss a "turn off month/day display option? Or is something wrong/conflicting with the current module(s)?

You need to create a custom date format and use that in your view display.
