csc4 commentedI have this problem too - with the addition of a problem with field pages too.
Has anyone come up with a workaround? or even better a fix!

graytech commentedAny update on this problem? I'm having the same issue.

colinsherry commentedWhen creating a calendar block via the date tools wizard the date_tools_wizard_add_block was passing the block id (bid) instead of the actual field name to drupal_write_record. This only occurs on an update.
The attached patch changes line 812 in date/date_tools/date_tools.module from
drupal_write_record('blocks', $block, array($block->bid))todrupal_write_record('blocks', $block, 'bid').Comment #7
Breanainn commentedthanks colinsherry , i couldn't apply it with the patch tool for some reason (didn't spoend any time figuring out why) did it manually and worked like a charm
