I have an event with a repeating date and an exception. I recently upgraded to 5.x-2.5 and now I get an internal server error whenever I save with that exception. If I remove the exception it saves. I am using PHP5.

cayenne commentedI have the same problem. Looking at old issues, this seems to have been a problem in the past that somehow got re-introduced with the latest upgrade, perhaps.
However, I seem to have stumbled upon a workaround: seven days. The routine hangs when you provide an exception to a weekly event, but it happily accepts an exception to an event that happens every seven days.
Why is this? I leave that to the experts in this module!

kg6wtr commentedI have a similar issue when I add an exception the entire repeating event gets moved to the next date. Nobody has responded to my finding thus far.
cayenne commentedI saw that and wonder whether the issue might be related to timezone handling. Have you played with your timezone settings to maybe make the problem go away?

morbiD commentedSimilar deal here I think. If I create an event, repeating weekly, all is well. If I try to add an exception and submit, I get PHP max execution time errors in date_repeat_calc.inc on various lines.
The lines it's hung on so far are: 273, 286, 313, 326, 383, 384, 390, 398, 400, 436. All these lines perform
date_format($current_day, whatever)ordate_modify($current_day, whatever), except for line 384 which does adate_format($end_date, whatever).Using version 5.x-2.5 on PHP 5/Apache 2. Tried it on a different host and just got blank pages without even an error message.
@Cayenne: I don't understand your workaround of setting up the event to occur every 7 days rather then every week. As far as I can see, it's either every week on certain days, or every day, so what repeat settings do you use exactly? Call me stupid, but I don't see where you can specify every n days.
cayenne commentedWell, the repeat function includes a drop-down for Every, Every 1, Every 2, etc... and a second box says Day Week Month etc.
So you get "Every 7" plus "Days" and there you go.
Does that make sense?
morbiD commentedAh, yes of course. Thank you.
I was just being exceedingly dumb and hadn't noticed the "Every n" options in the 1st dropdown. I'd always just clicked "Every" and never thought to see what the other choices were.
