My site has a large number of events (nodes with a date field) that are migrated into Drupal by following the migration example included in this module. Previously these events had worked fine, but since I upgraded to to date-7.x-2.2 and calendar-7.x-3.0, these dates no longer show up on my calendar.

I've tried all of the following work around to troubleshoot:
- Upgrading to the dev version of Date & Calendar
- Switching between Calendar Entities & deprecated Calendar Items
- Reverting my calendar, and switching to my date field
- Adding a new calendar from template with my date field

The only way one of my migrated dates will show up in my calendar is if I edit & save it (I don't even have to make any changes).

Could there be a step in saving a date which doesn't occur during date migration, but does occur when the node is saved?

OK, I think I figured it out. Now all dates must have "from" and "to" values (aka value and value2 in the array). Previously you could migrate a date with only a "from" datetime in the "value" key, and it would leave the "to" blank in the "value2" key.

I added the following to date.migrate.inc at line 109

      if( empty($to) )
      	$to = $from;

If your date field doesn't have an end time (as many of mine do not) then it copies the from time into the to time. This mirrors what happens on the front-end after you edit a date field without an end time.

Now my events show up in the calendar again!
