Date cck field stuck on todays date

Hi, I have transferred a site over to its live host and my date CCK field is now stuck on today's date. Its working fine on my test host. When i first transferred over I did experience a few date errors so I enabled the date php4 module and that seem to resolve those errors. But I am pulling my hair out with this one.
The live host is using PHP 5.16. and the test host is 5.2.14. I am just guessing it is a php issue.

Any help on this would be appreciated.
