Drupal 6.10 - with the latest download of Dash...

I installed per instructions and have attempted to isolate my spinning wheels- AMF gateway checks out - generated the API key - BUT I want to display images instead of video - so I created a VIEW called images and when I preview the node - It pulls up the three images (well.. it actually displays TITLE: Image1 TITLE: image2 etc...)... I put the code snippet

   $params['width'] = 652;
   $params['height'] = 432;
   $params['playlist'] = 'images';
   print dashplayer_get_player($params);

into a block and then set the block to display in 'content' and the player comes up with just spinning wheels...

I also uploaded an image and then tried to put a piece of code in the body which i believe was:

$params['node'] = $node->nid;
$params['width'] = 450;
$params['height'] = 405;
print dashplayer_get_player($params);

to simply put the current nodes image into the player - this did not work either...

Any ideas of how I could simply hardcode a nid=2 or something like that to test the loading and display of images (or can i just put a path in and test it loading the image directly? although I would never use this - at least I could check that my install will load and display an image in its most simple iteration)... also any thoughts on how to isolate this problem?

Thanks for any help!

this is what comes out of my page source - could it be that it is expecting an .mov or similar due to the param name="movie"?

  <param name="movie" value="http://127.0.0.1/drupal/player/dashPlayer.swf" />
   <param name="FlashVars" value="playlist=images" />

   <param name="quality" value="high" />
   <param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
   <param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" />
   <embed name="dashplayer" allowScriptAccess="always" src="http://127.0.0.1/drupal/player/dashPlayer.swf"
      width="652"
      height="432"
      border="0"
      type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"
      wmode="transparent" allowfullscreen="true" quality="high" flashvars="playlist=images" />

Title: First Install - trying to display images » this does not work either
<?php
   $params['width'] = 652;
   $params['height'] = 432;
   $params['node'] = 2;
   print dashplayer_get_player($params);
?>

Maybe there is something wrong with the way I am using image nodes? I installed it, I can upload an image and then it displays the image on my page...

ALSO
I took my BASEURL +FILESYSTEM+IMAGE MODULE paths and they add up to the location of the images.... when I put the URL into a browser it returns a picture

Hello TDrupal,

Typically it is much easier if you personally send me a link to your site where I can take a look at what it is doing. Are you willing to do this? If not, then we can probably talk our way through this.

Let me know.

Thanks,

Travis.

i have install dash media player with the required modules. Later i got some error -

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare _get_file_ext() (previously declared in /var/www/video-drupal/modules/dashplayer/plugins/dashplayer_cdn2/dashplayer_cdn2.module:6) in /var/www/video-drupal/modules/dashplayer/plugins/dashplayer_s3/dashplayer_s3.module on line 6

i need to know why this comes & how to rectify this error.

Thanks for your reply .

I have done the code. the function has to be remove. there was 2 function's that why the error occurs. The best solution for that funstion's to comment it out.

Now i have another problem i.e I have install all the related module as i told u before. Still the .swf file missing. So tel me the whole process which i can do it.

I am not sure what you mean by the SWF file is missing? You need to download the Dash Media Player at http://www.tmtdigital.com/project/dash_player to get the SWF file.

Thanks,

Travis.
