This might very well be the weirdest bug ever.

Have a look at #1976158: Rename entity storage/list/form/render "controllers" to handlers for example. Or #2125497: Field translation test is still use the old field_name property. Probably not going to happen in the reference.

Other example issues:

#966210: DB Case Sensitivity: system_update_7061() fails on inserting files with same name but different case
#1665688: Rename XHProf namespace to consistent lowercase

Completely lost track of what issue duplicates which one, but this has been fixed by @Dave Reid's patch in his issue (referenced as parent issue?), so closing as duplicate again, of that one.
