revise cumulus.module
1. case 'Configure'
...
$form['vid'] = array(
...
'#maxlength' => 3, ----------------------------------->3 could only support '1,2' two tags at most, change this to your amount
2. Add the following code just before "
$tags = tagadelic_get_weighted_tags(array(variable_get('cumulus_vid', 1)), variable_get('cumulus_tagadelic_step', 6), variable_get('cumulus_tagadelic_limit', 24)); " around line number 150
----------------------------------------------------------------
//dawnsong 20081210
$vocs=variable_get('cumulus_vid',1);
if (is_numeric($vocs)){
$vocs = array($vocs);
}
elseif (preg_match('/^([0-9]+,){1,5}[0-9]+$/', $vocs)){
$vocs = explode(',', $vocs);
}
else {
$vocs = array(1);
}
$tags = tagadelic_get_weighted_tags($vocs);
----------------------------------------------------------------
done!

dawnsong commentedThe codes above would support 6 vocabularies at most. So I changed the max length size to 12
Comment #2
dawnsong commentedI used Chrome and drupal 6.5, Cumulus also is most recent version. It just works. I only roughly wrote a few codes after Googling tagadelic.
I don't know if it works for other peoples. So the author may check it.

Kripsy commentedI had issues with this patch. Adding multiple vocabularies made the tag count multiply by the number of vocabularies available. So if I choose to show three vocabularies and wanted 15 tags shown I would need to tell it to show 5 tags and then it would show 5 of each vocabulary instead of showing 15 random from a pool of all three as expected. Furthermore, when I decided the multiple taxonomy behavior wasn't what I wanted and switched back to one taxonomy, it would no longer let me set the number of tags to appear. I could change the number, but the actual number of tags in the object stayed the same.

naheemsays commentedI also have the same problem as in number 7 - the number of tags to show when using a single taxonomy does not work and all tags are shown instead.

kars-t commentedYear old, no updates, seems not to apply to the views filter version.
