Dear panels development teem,
I'm forced to report to you about new mistake that I have found recently in the newest panels version. by the way in previos panels version 3.2 there haven't been nothing like this.
Precondition:
I specified in views some exposed filter fields and after that used this views pane in panels.
Mistake appearance condition:
If I try to search in a catalogue some result putting in some statement and the SQL query doen't retrive any result (there is no match in DB) than the exposed fields form does not display any more at all while I do not remove the specified search value even from views display (it is only possible to get the output to display with such statement only at views admin page), even comming back at one step via standart browser function (i.e. using Go back button).
Right behavior: If there is at least one match in DB than everything is working fine and the exposed filter form with rendered output is displayed.

Siegfrid commentedIn addition to my words - the problem is that user cannot see the display anymore and therefore, he's not able to change the filter entry. If the user tries to go to the original path this will not help at there will be nothing displayed to the user (by default all entity must be shown)

sdboyer commentedThis wouldn't be a problem in Panels itself; either going to be in views_content, or in Views itself, having to do with how its 'empty' case is presented. More likely the former. Moving to the appropriate project and changing status (needs review is if a patch is attached).

merlinofchaos commentedBy default, panels don't display anything if there isn't any result. The work around, for now, is to put something in the empty text.
