Cloning custom content panes shows same name in Panel

I am using the Custom content panes module that comes with cTools if I'm not mistaken and if I have a nice custom content pane that I want to reuse, I can clone it. See screenshot.
After cloning that, I modify everything including title and machine name and that all reflects properly on the "admin/structure/ctools-content" see screenshot. The problem is that when I try to add a custom content pane that has been cloned, it shows the name of the originally cloned custom content pane and that's very confusing. I've cleared the caches, one by one to see if the tables cache_panels or cache_page would have anything to do with it but that doesn't fix the issue. After clearing all the cache tables, same thing. The issue persists.

Any ideas?
