After the most recent (January 3rd) update of ctools and views (so this might be a views issue), views panes have disappeared from panels. The same views work outside panels. It doesn't matter whether a view is included as a content pane or a page.

I saw this on D6 with CTools 1.8, so I don't think it's a CTools issue. Probably Views 6.x-3.x-dev.

Applying patches from #1013170: Views ctools integration broken because of issue with preview() solves my 7.x issue, as I wrote I wasn't sure, where to report it.
