kreynen commentedAs I thought, loading 4000 checkboxes into a form was a no-go. This patch is really for the bare minimum we needed for our transition. Once installed, users with Admin Creative Commons permission can navigate directly to admin/settings/creativecommons/import/bulk
Obviously more work needs to be done, but this keeps the ball rolling. Hopefully someone with a different use case can add to this patch.

turadg commentedLooking at the code, I have some questions:
1) Why does it hard-code BY-NC 3.0 as the license? Is that all that CC_Lite supports? If not, can this importer read the license from CC_Lite?
2) Instead of printing, shouldn't it send to a log?
3) The UI text says "Convert Creative Commons Licenses" but really it's just copying them into another module, right? The CC_Lite licenses stay in place. Should this code also remove those?

kreynen commentedI doesn't hard-code the license...
$new_license = 'http://creativecommons.org/licenses/' . $row->license . '/3.0/us/
+//http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/us/ <- is just a comment for reference
The import should allow bother the version and jurisdiction to be set.
The reason is prints and isn't completely intuitive is it was written to scratch my itch and get the licenses converted on a few large sites. This works, but needs work.
