I cant seem to remove the content type 'profile' even after uninstallation

I had this same problem after uninstalling the module. The Profile type would still show up among my other content types but there was no remove or delete button.

Same here. It would be nice to be able to remove it.

indeed - I've changed the module so that the content type can be removed at every time. Run update.php when you are updating so you your content type changes to be deleteable.
