Is there a way to re-order or change the order of the content profile tabs.
Right now they display in alphabetical order, but I'm hoping to arbitrarily change the order.

you can set the weight on the content profile tab of the content type to change the order

I tried altering node weights of the profiles. Doesn't do a darned thing. Did you mean something else?

Oh! You mean the "content profile" control tab when editing the cck type you're using as a profile, via admin/content/types/[content-type]/profile. Why didn't you just say so?
