I`m very fond of content access module. It give rather huge opportunities to control access to node. Moreover it can give an opportunity to nodes author.
In my site I have 3 users roles. And I`m using content access to make possible for user to change access to their content. For example, if user don`t want to show his article to some role - he can just check roles which can access and which can not. And he can grand access to separated user. And this is grate.
But using content access I have faced some problems:
1. If user don`t want to show his node to all users with same (as authors) user role - when he uncheck this role in node view own access settings. And this role can`t see his node. But the problem is that author can`t see his node too.
2. Second problem is that content access give too much rights to users. Users can set access settings of their node. But with it they can set global access setting - they can set 'view any content', 'edit any content', 'delete any content'. And they can set 'delete own content', but I don`t want to give users opportunity to delete own content.
3. And the last - I think it would be great if content access could cooperate with user relations module (for example we could make new tab - related users access)
So, I hope some one would help me to solve this problems.

good_man commented1. This is the intended behaviour. What do you suggest else?
2. Your point is right, we should make per-node-access less global, only view/edit/delete behaviour.
3. I don't get what you mean, but I can tell that relations module is rarely used.
