I wanted to offer my support in helping develop, co-maintain and manage stable releases of this module for Drupal 8/9. It would be useful to clear through the issues and make the necessary improvements and create a stable Drupal 9 release. Thank you in advance.

This would be great. This module has not had a dev or stable release in years. I'm now getting fatal errors on Drupal 8.9 :(

@vuil, if you're still interested, I would suggest you follow the instructions at https://www.drupal.org/node/251466, if you haven't done so already.

If you're not still interested, please comment here and I'll follow that process. I have an interest in seeing the module maintained too, but I have enough modules and other projects already!

and I happy to hear you're interested in joining this important project as a co-maintainer.

I am actively looking for co-maintainers. However, I would like to see some of your code first. If you still are interested, pick any issue in this project that requires code to be written and submit a patch. I promise that I'll review it. If your code is good, I'll sign you up.

Please also state whether you are git vetted (aks. allowed to opt into security coverage). I am not going to reject those that are not vetted, but I'll do a more thorough review. That will benefit us both.

It is now more that three months since the offer to become co-maintainer was made. Nobody has responded to the offer. Time to close.

NigelCunningham, actually - you did respond back in May - it just took place in another exchange, so no "sorry" is required.
