will pages with restricted pages be kept from RSS output automatically?

I have been assuming that the content types with limited access (authenticated users) would be excluded. Is this true?

I know I need to set up a view with an RSS with just the content types I want to include. . . just found that out. But wondering what's been happening up to now. Spot checks of feed have not revealed any of the private content. . .
