How we will add description for selected contact form.
We want this option at contact block.

Can you explain why this is usefull, what is the use case for this feature?
Why should this be solved in Contact Block module and not in Contact module?

Contact form doesn't provide form description option like webform. Webform saves as a node that, means it has provided body option while contact form can't. For this requirement, I have created block description option which will be shown after block title and in form as a markup field

Do you have another option to add form description after block title? because contact form didn't provided markup field.

Yeah, But above alter functionality or patch will be useful for @all.

Because to update description will be easy for the client just go block, edit and update title and description both same time. if we will go with the markup field, it will not good as a user-friendly.

If you think, It will good for people who needs to find a solution then you can keep patch.

I do not want to add functionality to the contact form exclusively for Contact Form. I want to keep the module lean and prefer functionality that is re-usable across both Contact and Contact Form module.

@Sutharsan: It might be worth making it more clear on the project page that you're not intending to extend the module's functionality to add new fields / customizations to the contact form; though I completely understand where you're coming from, it's an uncommon stance to take and so making it a bit more clear will help folks avoid putting together patches that ultimately won't be committed. It might also help adding some documentation on how to achieve some of these requirements in alternative methods, e.g. using hooks and theming.

@Damien, you are right. I will make it more clear.

Alternatively, the module is looking for a new maintainer. He/she can perhaps extend the module further.

Hello,
Having instruction or description on the feedback form is very important. Why can't we add it within the "feedback form". I have tried to add custom block and set block configuration to display it only when page is /contact . block is not shown.
