Commerce Smart Importer

Commerce Smart Importer will help you import Commerce Product and Variations in CSV format.

The biggest advantage of this importer is that everything is done automatically.

It will recognize fields and format them by their types.

Almost every field type is supported.

Commerce Smart Importer can even import images and files just by drag-and-dropping them to the provided dropzonejs element, entering their URLs or uploading them to a folder defined in public files.

Taxonomies and attributes will also be created if it they do not exist.

Commerce Smart Importer is still in the development phase, but you won’t notice that - it is more than ready to use!

How it works

Before you start using Commerce Smart Importer, you need to know how you should format your CSV file.

• Values you want in each field should be in the same position (column) like in the header.
• If your field allows more than one value, you should delimit values with | ex. value1|value2|value3. This applies to all fields.
• When you download the template, first labels will be product labels, and after those - variation fields starting with SKU.
• It is possible to add more than one variation of a product. All you have to do is to leave product fields empty, and variation will be added to the last product filled in.
