I have a production site running Drupal Commerce 7.x-1.4 with Commerce File 7.x-1.0.
As soon as iOS 7 was released by Apple, I started receiving reports from users that they are unable to download purchased ebook files to their iOS 7 devices.
Mobile Safari reports:
Safari cannot open the page because the network connection was lost.
and
Download Failed. Safari cannot download this file.
Chrome on iOS 7 reports:
Warning: Something's not right here! Chrome is unable to verify that the URL for this site is corrent. You cannot proceed because the website operator has requested heightened security for this domain.
Has anyone else experienced these errors with iOS 7.
I'm not convinced that Commerce File is the cause, but I would like to rule it out if no one else can reproduce these errors.
Error screens are attached.

bojanz commentedThis sounds like a server misconfiguration or maybe a general Drupal bug (perhaps ios 7 requires an additional header, or doesn't like one of those that are sent?).
Try testing on another server, and try testing with a vanilla Drupal install (with private files configured and used).
That will allow you to narrow down the cause.
Reopen if there's anything more I can do to help.

bjorpe commentedHi,
Did you find a solution to this issue? Similar problems here, but just with private files in general not the Commerce File module.

bojanz commentedIf you're using File Entity, try updating to latest -dev.
There were two relevant fixes in january: #2098067: File entity doesn't support byte ranges and #2101017: Use of 'Content-Type: force-download' breaks downloading on Android
