Exclude product variations from cache. When using product variations, only the standard variation will be visible. When changing to a different variation, the product won't change.

Good point. After some investigation, it would seem this is actually an Authcache bug. This is (it seems) related to Authcache caching (or high-jacking) AJAX requests. This prevents Commerce Cart from refreshing the product display.

I'll look into it a bit more. Instead of coming up with a hacky solution for only Commerce, it might be better to provide a patch for Authcache.

I would suggest to use Authcache 2 and read https://drupal.org/node/2037015. Seems to be working very well.
