I'm making an e-commerce site in Japanese, but I've run into an issue with translations not showing on the product display page.

When the page is first loaded, all translations are showing properly

But after I select a different variation (and the content is refreshed via Ajax), the "quantity" and "add to cart" buttons are shown in English for some reason. I've translated all of the instances of these phrases, so I don't think I'm missing these Japanese translations in my system.

I'm not sure if this is a Commerce issue, or something to do with the stock module.

I thought for sure someone else would have run into the same problem, but I haven't been able to find any similar issues.

I'd greatly appreciate any help. Thank you.

I found the issue was that the admin's account's default language was English, so when I was logged in as the admin I had this problem. But normal users on my site will have accounts set to Japanese.
For my use case, this is sufficient.

I've also encountered this issue, thanks for the advice.

After digging around, I found a post in the 'Administration Language' module issue queue which contains a helpful patch: #11

I'm still testing the patch but it looks like it solves the issue.

It's probably a bit late for you 'Jill L' but it may help someone with similar issues.
