So as it stands, each user has the ability to view their own orders eg. user/1/orders
The permision on this view is "Access: Permission | View own orders of any type"

I would like the ability to allow a given user role the ability to view orders for any user by clicking on the same Orders link in their profile page. I have set up a "commerce" role and giving them permission "Administer orders". Even with this permission, they cannot see the view. I was thinking having "admin orders" permissions would overide the "View own orders of any type" permission. I also enabled the other permissions such as "View any order of any type" for this role but still no luck.

Just a note: The administrator account can view the Orders view for any user but this is probably more of a views permissoin than commerce.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

There are three levels of access to this View, actually, though only the permission based access is readily apparent. I'm guessing you saw this in your View's configuration under the Permission access settings for the page settings. However, you need to also expand the Advanced settings fieldset and edit the contextual filter. Toward the bottom of it, you'll see that it's filtering to only validate the given uid in the URL if it's the current user's uid or the user trying to view it has a particular role - administrator by default, but you can enable your custom role, too.

Thank you rszrama!! That was definitely hard to find and not intuitive for me.
