I have tried for three hours to get this work and it did not. I tried setting up the sandbox and it did not work.
Do you have more detailed instructions on what works.

Hi! You need to properly close the collapsing tags. E.g.:

[collapse collapsed]

Some text

[/collapse]

The example you have doesn't close the collapse tag.

Additionally, the code snippets from the issue summary and #1 are wrong, with a very obvious typo (collapse has obviously been misspelled):
[collasped] should be [collapse]
(watch carefully the s is after the p).

Since @pukku's solution from #2 should be working fine, as expected, I allowed myself to mark this issue as fixed for now, but feel free to re-open it, or post a new ticket, at any time if you have any further objections with the solution suggested at #2 (we would surely be happy to hear your feedback).
