I'm maintaining the coder_sniffer part of Coder, which is not a module. coder_review is currently unmaintained in 8.x-2.x and I would suggest to remove it until a new maintainer is found. The current code just confuses people and they think there should be still a module in D8 (you can run coder_sniffer independently from a Drupal installation).

Any objections on removing the code? Any volunteers that would like to take over coder_review for D8?

Otherwise I'm going to remove the code in 2 weeks.

I hope to take it up again, but probably not for another month or so. I'm just back at work after 6 months and need to ease back into things.

@stella that's fine, you can always add it back when you find time to port it to a working D8 version. Git keeps the history for us, so nothing is lost and we can revert.
