session time slots field has no values on session

I think the issue is this:

• You need to first set the Widget Type for field_room_slots_types_allowed (at admin/structure/types/manage/room/fields/field_room_slots_types_allowed/widget-type) to "Embedded", then populate that field collection in a Room node.
• Then you can select a time slot on a session node.

Did this work for you twardnw? I'm having what seems to be the same issue and it isn't working for me. The view that powers the time slot entity reference for sessions and schedule items doesn't return any time slots.... I'm thinking my problem is with the view, but I've not found what's wrong with it...

Edit: Ok, the solution offered did help. I had to save the node first and then edit the node. This bug is related, and after applying the patch it simplified the process somewhat: https://drupal.org/node/2071559

I am having the same problem: I create some time slots and then a session, but the picklist of Time Slots has none of the time slots I created.

I tried the suggested fix above, which had no effect.

I see that there's been little recent activity on this...has it been fixed? I'm working with the recent distro (cod (cod-7.x-1.0-alpha4+1-dev)).

I had the same issue, I added the patch and followed #1's instructions. It's fixed for me now.

This is somewhat re-written here: #2295951: Field_session_timeslot and Tracks don't appear correctly with og_group_ref and should be fixed.

I have problem in Drupal cod_support , I have install all the modules where as I am unable to get the time slot value in session , I have try all the procedure , also in the session (manage event ) there is no value of time slot appearing when I selecting the particular event.

When i install drupal cod then it would workingd but in cod_support(existing drupal) it is working , may be it is permission or some thing else I am trying to find the solution .

I wonder if its windows specific, but I'll see if we can do some tests on this.

I have tried to install a number of different times; on local environments (windows) and the beta5 on Acquia Cloud; the 12/19 make profile version on Pantheon. All give me this same error, and no time slots are visible. I have a conference soon and am hoping to use this distro. Thanks for your help and hard work!

for anyone coming back to this later (like me) make sure you check that all of the appropriate checkboxes are enabled in the /admin/structure/features section, including the subsection of COD pages. This wasn't a bug, one of those not enabled checkboxes.

Everything else is checked, yet my timeslots under create session or scheduled time are blank. I do have 24 timeslots, so something should show up.

Looking @ the view "Timeslot Select List" the preview comes up blank. Are there arguments that should be passed to it?

I am having this or a similar issue also. I add time slots and rooms. I create sessions and time slots. When I create both the sessions and time slots there is nothing in the Time slots drop down. Then I go to the Scheduler Tab and drag and drop some published sessions into room/timeslot boxes. After doing this the room/timeslots appear in my drop down list for sessions only... only the timeslots into which I dragged a session, and not the ones that I haven't touched yet. Schedule items still have empty drop downs. So I have a way to schedule sessions right now, but not Schedule items. I am running my test box under Windows right now because my ubuntu vm was giving me grief. I seem to remember my test box under ubuntu I was able to schedule Schedule items, but don't quote me on this and I don't have a linux machine right now to test this on. I have the same feature/pages enabled as #15 except I'm using Paid Events. I'll keep looking.

Oopps... Now I see that the drop down arrow next to each box on the scheduler grid brings you to a screen where you can allow that time slot to be filled with either a schedule item, session or both. So you have to do this with each of these boxes to make they accessible to the schedule item since you can't just drag and drop them into the grid. One thing "we" could do would be to enable schedule items to be dragged and dropped as well, or give some indication of what those little arrows are for somewhere on the page. But for now it appears to work as designed?!
