Quite a few issues have been found lately related to permissions; one of the key goals of the betas is to eliminate these permissions and potential SAs before a full release.

One way to accomplish permissions is by writing up how user permissions are derived and what users can do to alter permissions retaining to sessions, sponsors, bofs, etc.

On my tour of camps talking about COD I have gotten feedback here on permission issues as well. I haven't tested them in the latest versions and not sure how they are being set, but I would like to see them set (on install, not with features) pretty open and in the documentation page about permissions, talk about how to lock different parts down.
