With the resp_img module images can be made responsive too, and with images styles scaled automatically for different browser widths and thus load smaller images on mobile for example.

Probably better to use in Moderate, as Media is also required to use responsive images in WYSIWYG editor, and because it may require more customization to use than those using Easy are ready to do.

Daniel. I like this module.

It appears like learning how to use image styles WILL be an easy starter-kit user requirement. There is just so much more flexibility and power than WYSIWG insertion.

While it would be great to master the basics of Image Styles at the Easy level, I think getting into responsive topics is going to be overwhelming for many people.

Another argument to include resp_img already in the Easy starterkit is to use responsive images for the slideshow, that is already included in Easy, and also for profile photos. I have that working on drupal7.okv.se now for example.

It's easy to configure the Responsive Images module, and the image styles required to make cm_slideshow responsive can be included in the cm_slideshow module? Then documentation can be provided for those who also wish to make other images, like the user profile photo, responsive.

I'd like to include this in Easy, or possibly Moderate, so that I can write documentation for the above-mentioned.

It makes sense to include the module at the Easy level, but only use it in a pre-configured context. We are doing this with Features as well. Features is required to enable Crew Connect, but we aren't getting into creating your own Features until the moderate level.

Obviously responsive layouts are a key feature of cm_theme, but I think it's unrealistic to expect anyone just getting started with Drupal to do much more than add blocks to content regions that only show up on front.

I captured this in a feature and committed to cm_slideshow. Now needs testing to add it to the Easy starterkit.

@westis Have you been able to test this feature? Is it already rolled into the cm_slideshow? Can I close out?

It is now a dependency to cm_slideshow. Closing.
