This issue is back in Drupal 8.5.4

I tried following the steps in Drupal 8.5.4 and it did not work.

Apply new/updated solution to work with 8.5.4+

I tested this issue. I installed fresh Drupal 8.5.4 with ckeditor_uploadimage version 8.x-1.5 module enabled and followed the steps provided on the project page. I enabled the imce version 8.x-1.6 and followed the instructions provided at https://www.drupal.org/node/2852480#comment-11956851. I did not find any issues, everything works just fine. I also tried in fresh Drupal 8.5.5, also no issues found.
