Problem/Motivation

Drupal 12 is scheduled for GA in December 2026. The latest release of ckeditor5_paste_filter (1.1.1) does not declare ^12 in core_version_requirement, so Composer cannot install it on Drupal 12.

Proposed resolution

Tag and create a new release of ckeditor5_paste_filter that is compatible with Drupal 12

Related: #3596220: Automated Drupal 12 compatibility fixes for ckeditor5_paste_filter 1.1.x-dev Which already committed the relevant change declaring compatibility: diff against 1.1.1.

Remaining tasks

  • Perform manual and automated testing on the latest D12
  • Tag a new release

Needed by the YMCA Website Services (Open Y) distribution for Drupal 12.

Thanks for opening this, I did want to create a D12 compatible release in the near future. I'm updating the issue summary to reflect that there is no MR to review, etc.
