Ckeditor 5 Find and replace

This project is not covered by Drupal’s security advisory policy.

Introduction

The CKEditor 5 Find and Replace module provides a powerful solution for users who want to streamline their content editing experience within Drupal. It enables editors to quickly search for and replace multiple texts in CKEditor 5 content fields, saving time and ensuring consistent content management.

Features

This module extends the functionality of CKEditor 5 by adding a find-and-replace feature directly within the text editor. Users can specify multiple phrases or words to search for, as well as their corresponding replacements, using a comma-separated format. This module is ideal for websites with large amounts of content or for situations where repeated text needs to be updated efficiently across multiple areas. Common use cases include content revisions, branding updates, and correcting repetitive errors.

Post-Installation

After installing the module, navigate to your text format configuration page. Here, you can enable the CKEditor 5 Find and Replace filter for specific text formats. In the filter settings, you can enter the text you wish to find and its replacement. Once configured, this functionality will be automatically applied to content that uses the specified text format.

Additional Requirements

This module requires the CKEditor 5 editor, which should already be installed and configured in your Drupal setup. No additional dependencies are needed beyond Drupal core.

CKEditor Plugins: Consider other CKEditor plugins that extend functionality, such as spell check or additional formatting tools, to further improve your content editing workflow.
