I installed Nexus Theme 7.x-1.3 and use the chatblock on the right side of page. There are other blocks too. The text input field was normal size beforehand with other theme but now with this theme input field is so low in height, that you can't see what you write. Just some extremely small parts of letters' top part. But the field comes normal when there is a node which contains a long story. There is a screenshot attachment.
How should I fix this?

Solution found by myself: I don't know is this the best solution, but this works for me with Nexus theme. On css-file there was too small height on line 26. Suitable is 2.25em. The reason why it did not react at first was I did not realize to disable and again enable CSS aggregation after the css change. CSS-file in files/css was not updated.

Since chatblock is a module (not a theme) there is only very little styling done by itself. However, due to some browser-specific odds, I had to add some minimal styling for input#edit-chatblocktext (although it is not obvious why the relevant change, i.e. increasing the input fields relative height, breaks the theme's form display; looks like they adhere to the bad habit of designing rem and/or pixel based). To solve your issue the Drupal way (wrong place for details here!) you should create a child theme for the one you are using and add/override the related CSS there.

This, btw, not only applies to chatblock, but to any elements generated by contrib modules. You will start best off digging into Drupal theme overrides. Find it somewhere[tm] in the API docs. It is not as complicated as it may sound.
