matslats commentedHi I've made some improvements for you, including making the page editable, but before committing the code I want to know why "I haven't been able to get the site to function without it"
amysragbag commentedOn Cforge/setup, if I leave GDPR unticked, I get a white screen. This is after I've indicated on the install page that I'm in the US. I can go back and tick GDPR, but then I get kicked back to the setup page with a message that I've made an illegal choice. I select GDPR again, and the setup completes, and everything looks normal.
This error message shows up in reports/dblog directly after hal is installed, and then again after gdpr is installed:

matslats commentedHi amy, the error you showed was fixed before, and not connected to GDPR module.
GDPR module doesn't know what country you are in.
I've now made some improvements to GDPR in head.
Do
composer update --no-dev
to ensure you have the lastest version.
amysragbag commentedThank you. I always try to remember to run
composer update --no-dev
before reporting an issue to make sure it's something you haven't already fixed :)
I got the error yesterday while installing into a completely empty directory and using a fresh database.
matslats commentedI wonder if the composer script I gave you is really getting the latest version.
The version I pushed just now doesn't have modules/cforge_geo
Comment #7
amysragbag commentedIs there a way I could check?
matslats commentedSorry I forgot to tell you that to update the profile is a special composer command.
not
composer update --no-dev
but
composer run-script update-cforge
Comment #9
amysragbag commentedOk it looks like that was successful. Where would I go to configure GDPR?
