I noticed the module calls a number of comment_* functions. Should probably specify that 'comment' module is needed in the projects info file:

;dependencies[] = notifications
;dependencies[] = messaging

By default including modules inherits there dependencies as well.

On the modules page comment and views are listed as a dependency which are inherited from casetracker.
