After looking through the captcha.module file it seems fairly easy to integrate other site forms with this, but I cant figure out exactly what to add. Can someone help me enable captcha on private messages? Thanks

mstef commentedI tried adding : privatemsg_message_form into $captcha_points = array( - and it just threw a ton of mysql errors..
I got privatemsg_message_form by looking at the form ID in the source code while viewing it through a browser..
using forward_form worked fine for forward.module.. why wouldn't this work?
This seems like a very simple problem..does anyone know the answer?

wundo commentedPlease don't flood.
Maybe is something related with PrivateMessage module.
Are you sure that captcha isn't adding the form item?

mstef commentedi apologize..this site takes about a good 500 minutes to load each page...im not sure what to do when i press submit..and 10 minutes later it is still sitting there..
anyway - no it is not working...you can press back to get out of the error - and if you look at captcha settings, the private msg option is unchecked automatically

flaviovs commentedPlease, do not reopen old, closed issues. Apart from being related to a very old version (Drupal 4.7 -- and generic form support was added when Form API was added to Drupal 5.0, IIRC), opening "closed" issues is a no-no. See the Status settings of issues page for more information.
If you have any problem with a currently supported version of this module, search the issue queue for an issue that is still being worked on. If you can not find one, please create a new issue.
