Exposes a Drupal Canvas pattern as blocks that render a configurable pattern. This allows placing the pattern via a block, so that it can be centrally managed.
Why
Placing a pattern through the Canvas UI forks it: the component tree is copied into the page. By placing a pattern via the block, it stays centrally managed via the block.
Features
- A lightweight canvas_pattern_block config entity. Select the pattern to be exposed by a block.
- Each entity is exposed as a block that editors place via Canvas
Usage
- Create one or more patterns in Drupal canvas
- Add a new Pattern block under Admin >> Structure >> Pattern blocks and select your pattern
- Place the block, e.g. via Drupal canvas.
