Overview

The designated hotkey cmd+D on macOS within the Layers section for duplicating a layer is colliding with the browsers function for adding a bookmark. If you want to duplicate for example a section you have selected by pressing cmd+D based on the given hotkey in the context menu

the layers section in the left sidebar in drupal canvas with the button section context menu expanded

instead of duplicating the section you are triggering the "adding a bookmark" feature of your browser.

drupal canvas page in the background with the layers menu in the left sidebar and the add bookmark dialog in the front for adding a bookmark for drupal canvas

Tested on macOS 26.2, and it applies to the latest versions of Safari, Firefox, and Edge

This is a good feature, but why is it a bug?

omitted the first step as a screenshot and assumed the written form would already self-explanatory enough. problem is i want to duplicate a section with command d and instead of duplicating i add a bookmark. i've updated also the issue summary. apologies and hope the issue summary is clearer now.

That does make more sense. Thanks.
