I use this contribution button to integrate with Smileys, it's pretty good.

But I found it load all images of smileys even I don't click the button.
Is it possible to load the image only when users click the button?

I know pre-load can improve performance, but it also consume the bandwidth and CPU to render them.

Delete:
var links = $.map($L, map);

Replace:
$(links).clone(true)
with:
$.map($L, map)
