Columns Filter Button

I am using the following code for a columns filter chooser: http://drupal.org/project/columns_filter.

After applying the patch: http://drupal.org/node/564720 , the column filter has two sets of code to insert <!--section> and <!--column> . I using the following chooser.

However, the chooser shows <>section> and <>column>. I strongly believe there would be better way to do this. Please help!
