Getting ready to launch a client site at http://www.jakeschepps.com/node

Everything looks peachy on mac and pc in Firefox and Safari, but breaks
in IE on the pc. Background turns black, and all text gets center alignment.

I've been hacking at box_grey for drupal 4.6. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Hi jboeger,

it seems that the IE has problems with your 'bgcolor' indication.

To use the 'bgcolor' with IE use the follow code

bgcolor="#FFFFFF"

instead of

bgcolor="#FFF"

I better explain this alignment issue better...

On the intended version, most of the text aligns left... both nav and content.

In IE, it seems every instance of text is aligned center. Hmmm.

Inline styles? How very 1998.

You have an inline style on a container div of "align: center" (used to center the whole content for IE) my guess is that IE is aplying that to all the child elements. You'll need to specifically set all the child elements to align: left I think.

You really should learn how to use external stylesheets.

I admit I've been have problems transitioning to CSS... but I'm working on it.

I am having trouble zeroing in on what you are talking about. Can you tell me
which line you see the div that contains "align: center" ?

Adrinux, I don't believe I am using inline styles. Unless one snuck in from a module.... I simply don't see it.
