This is the Drupal 7 companion module for the Bootstrap base theme project. This module will automatically be included in the base project for Drupal 8 (pending #2390973: Allow themes to contain companion modules and depend on them).
Themes are limited in which hooks they are allowed to implement, thus this module contains functionality and features that are nearly impossible to do in just a theme. Its use is to help couple the backend of Drupal more tightly with the front end of Bootstrap.
This module itself does not (yet) do anything. Please enable one of the following sub-modules.

- bootstrap_field - Contains useful and common features for fields. Such as:
- Bootstrap Carousel Formatter - Works with the standard "image" field type and even provides additional fields for displaying captions.
